IC Receiver is a tool for the automatic data transfer from Neo Smart pens to the IC Pen 2 system. After connecting the pen to computer all the data from pen will automatically show up in the IC PEN 2 Client. If there’s any issue and the filled form doesn’t apear it is neccesary to take a look into IC Receiver. To take advantage of the functionality offered by the application, find the application icon in the system tray and double click on it. Here you can see status oft the uploaded data.

No data – If after connecting the pen to computer the message “no data found in the pen” appears, check the battery level of the pen. If the pen was discharged while filling the form data are lost and it is necessary to fill out the form again. If the pen is charged, write something on any IC Pen 2 form. It will unlock the pen and next attempt of data transfer should finish successfully.

Failure –The reason is the problem with connection to the IC Pen 2 server, caused by one of the following: no internet connection, system or network firewall blocking communication between the computer and the server on port 80 or 443, invalid URL of the IC Pen 2 server in the ICReceiver. After determining and eliminating the cause, click on the „Resend failed data“ button.

Data not visible in the IC Pen Client application despite successful data transfer – contact administrator or system supplier providing pen identifier number, customer name and login.
